Jonathan Greenard – (Florida)

Florida standout Jonathan Greenard is another good prospect that might be available for the Carolina Panthers with their third-round pick.

If they choose to focus on other positions with their opening two selections, then Greenard could be a high-value pick that is going to be a huge asset for any team that is fortunate enough to take him.

Greenard might not be the quickest player you have ever seen off the snap. But he has a tremendous work ethic and that is normally a good foundation from which to build a prolific NFL career.

The player notched 9.5 sacks, 50 combined tackles, three forced fumbles, and four pass deflections in 2019 for the Gators. Greenard is also versatile enough to either put his hand in the dirt or operate as a stand-up outside linebacker.

There are some areas of his game that the player needs to work on. Most notably, his technique needs considerable work and Greenard also has to improve his hand placement to make a real go of things in the NFL.

That being said, there is plenty to work with regarding the player, who more than warrants a mid-round selection. There is even the possibility of Greenard being taken in the second round if a particular team has liked what they have seen during the shortened evaluation process due to the coronavirus pandemic.
