Khalid Kareem – (Notre Dame)

Khalid Kareem is a raw prospect that has the ability to go very far. He has ‘elite-athlete’ written all over him and there is no telling what the player could accomplish in the future with more experience under his belt.

Kareem plays long and has the extension to really trouble opposing offensive lineman on a consistent basis. He has a good turn of foot and has a real nous for plugging gaps thanks in no small part to his upper body strength.

The prospect has 12 sacks over three college seasons for the Fighting Irish. He also managed to attain 106 combined tackles, four forced fumbles, and seven pass deflections. Kareem’s potential is limitless providing he can work out some of the kinks that can cause concern when he gets to the NFL.

Although Kareem is fast when he gets going, his initial burst is an area that needs some work if he is going to trouble more elite guards in the pros. The player also needs to add to his pass-rushing repertoire as he will not get away with being a one-trick pony in the NFL.

All this can be work on from Kareem’s perspective. This could be down to the fact he is a little underdeveloped from a coaching point of view and with more time to focus on his game at the next level, someone could be getting a real steal.
