The time for NFL Draft speculation is almost over, but what moves could the Carolina Panthers make in the next few days to improve the franchise.

It promises to be a very intriguing NFL Draft from the Carolina Panthers’ perspective. The organization has plenty of holes to fill to further assist new head coach Matt Rhule with transforming the fortunes of the franchise.

Much has been made about which way the Panthers could go with their selections. Their moves in free agency dictate that defense should be their primary concern after a host of key departures and the retirement of All-Pro linebacker Luke Kuechly.

Carolina currently has eight selections at their disposal heading into the Draft. That leaves the margin for error incredibly slim if they want to speed up their rebuilding process.

They are expected to at least explore the possibility of moving down in the first round in order to accumulate more selections. Whether they would want to do this in favor of taking a premier talent at No. 7 remains to be seen.

This is one of the most important drafts in the Panthers’ short history. General manager Marty Hurney has proven his capability of finding diamonds in the rough during his time with the franchise. He will get a considerable amount of help from Rhule, who knows the college system inside out from his time as head coach of Baylor University before switching to the NFL this offseason.

With so many options available, what are some of the more bold moves the Panthers could make during the Draft?
