How Tre Boston can help Jeremy Chinn?

Although Jeremy Chinn has some exciting athletic gifts at his disposal. There are some elements of his game that need work and Tre Boston can be a huge help alongside the prospect’s progression with the Carolina Panthers coaching staff.

It is all well and good receiving coaches on the sideline. But having someone to guide you on the field is something that is going to be equally as important. Every rookie needs a veteran player to help with the transition and Boston can be that guy for Chinn.

This is going to his chances of forging a successful career in the NFL the world of god. Chinn has an exceptional skill set to call upon and can even drop down into the slot cornerback role if needed. He does tend to struggle with outside coverage. But that is not something the Panthers’ coaching staff is expected to ask of him.

Chinn is a big hitter and fits in a similar mold to Boston, who was initially drafted by the Panthers out of North Carolina before going on to have spells with the Los Angeles Chargers and the Arizona Cardinals.

He played every defensive snap for the franchise last season on his way to 68 combined tackles (53 solo), three interceptions, and 11 pass deflections. Boston’s production was one of the standout features of an otherwise disappointing season from the defense. This is something Chinn can study and learn from to great effect.

There is an enormous amount of potential regarding Chinn. With fifth-round pick Kenny Robinson also adding some quality depth at the safety position, the Panthers’ secondary could be much-improved in 2020.
