Can Moore get even better in 2020?

Much will depend on how the new-look offensive line in Carolina holds up. But if they manage to gel quickly then D.J. Moore can become one of the best Panthers fantasy football options in 2020.

Obviously All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey remains the most intriguing prospect and will be one of the first names drafted. However, Moore has standout potential for growth and the Panthers have done a fine job of putting some good pieces around him to ensure they have a shot at improving on their 5-11 record in 2019.

Moore ended last season with 87 receptions, 1,175 yards, and four touchdowns. This also included a yards-per-catch average of 13.5. Having someone reliable like new arrival Robby Anderson should also free up some space next season. This is another encouraging sign for a player with elite footwork and hands.

The Panthers fantasy football options are going to be limited given their expected struggles. But given they are set to be down in a majority of their 2020 games. Itt represents a good opportunity for Moore and others to make the most of more passing opportunities.

Teddy Bridgewater is a much more willing downfield passer than Kyle Allen. So this is going to come with its own benefits. How Moore performs during the season will go a long way to determining just how well new head coach Matt Rhule is going to get on during his first season at the helm.

There is going to be a significant amount of ups and downs during the campaign in Carolina. At least from a Panthers fantasy perspective, Moore has all the tools needed to make a real go of things next term as he looks to secure his first Pro Bowl selection.
