Walker’s time in the XFL was highly beneficial for the player and saw him emerge as an MVP candidate before the league was shut down. This was enough for the Panthers to give him a two-year, $1.65 million deal in the hope he can make the most of another chance in the NFL.

There is plenty to like about Walker’s game. And it is clear he has learned a considerable amount from his time away from the pros. The Panthers have given him a shot and it would be a huge shock if he did not take full advantage.
