3 ways the Carolina Panthers could land Jamal Adams

Carolina Panthers: Trade scenario No. 2 for Jamal Adams
Although the Carolina Panthers recently signed Tre Boston to an extension. If the New York Jets potentially ask for him in any negotiations for Jamal Adams, then the organization would be foolish not to pull the trigger.
Boston was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disappointing season defensively from the Panthers. He gave up eight receptions from 16 targets and managed to end the campaign with 55 solo tackles and three interceptions.
If the Panthers were to go in this direction. Having Adams and Boston together on the backend would be their ideal outcome. However, the temptation to have such a prolific player such as the former LSU Tiger is such an enticing prospect that they might be willing to consider parting ways with the player.
Realistically speaking, Adams will not be leaving MetLife Stadium for a player without a sweetener thrown in. The Jets would be on the hook for Boston’s base salary if he was included in a deal, so a mid-round draft pick in 2021 is the least they would expect in addition.
It’s clear that any NFL team that wants Adams will need to be bold with any offer. This is still a volatile situation that could get even worse before competitive action gets underway. And if the Jets feel slighted by the safety’s behavior then they will do everything in their power to make things as difficult as possible.
