Who would the Carolina Panthers have selected in the 2019 NFL Draft knowing how each player fared during their rookie campaign?

Hindsight would be a wonderful thing to have in the NFL. But which way would the Carolina Panthers have gone with their 2019 Draft picks if this was the case?

The franchise had mixed success from their rookies in 2019. However, it was a subpar campaign from the team on the whole. And much more is expected from certain members of the group next time around with more experience and a potentially better roster going forward with the Carolina Panthers.

Selecting through the draft is the cornerstone of every successful franchise. And the Panthers need to hit the jackpot over the next two or three years if they want to become a real contender. The new regime made a promising start with its 2020 picks. But we are not going to know what to expect from them long-term until this time next year.

No matter how many players that end up being good selections. There are always NFL teams that look back with some regret at the ones that got away. Who could forget when the Chicago Bears traded up to land Mitchell Trubisky at No. 2 when Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson were still on the board.

Just a few short years into their respective careers and the decision will go down as one of the worst in Bears’ history. Things like this have the potential to shape the future of a franchise. And the Panthers will be no different.

If the organization could go back and select their 2019 college recruits again, which way would they go?
