What dream trade scenarios could the Carolina Panthers possibly consider?

The Carolina Panthers have made some strong moves to improve the fortunes of the franchise this offseason. They parted ways with a wealth of veteran players that formed the cornerstone of the roster for so long. And they replaced them with younger individuals who have a point to prove.

New head coach Matt Rhule knows how to rebuild struggling programs. This is something he did tremendously well at Baylor and Temple. So there is real hope he can do the same with the Carolina Panthers.

Having a relatively unproven roster might come with some struggles initially. But the Panthers have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball during this expected period of transition.

They could still use some more quality to improve their fortunes. This could come via the trade market in the coming weeks. But their salary cap predicament needs to improve if they want to make any targets become a reality.

This might be something the Panthers are more willing to do once their salary cap improves in 2021. But if the decision-makers see an opportunity that could potentially speed up the process of their rebuild. Then they would be foolish not to make the move happen.

Although some areas of the depth chart look particularly strong going into training camp. There are others that come with real concern. This will need to be addressed either in free agency or via trade to really give them a chance going forward.

Here are three possible trade options that the Panthers could consider.
