This one should come as no surprise. Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey had one of the best campaigns in NFL history last year. He became just the third running back to eclipse both 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in the same season.

McCaffrey already dominated the league last year but there could actually be room for improvement. Most experts believe that his statistics will regress from what they were in 2019. But there is reason to believe he could actually be better given the team’s new additions around him.

As previously mentioned, Bridgewater is going to bring some much-needed stability to the game’s most important position. This should allow the team to stay on the field for longer drives and receive more red zone opportunities.

The talented receiving group of Moore, Anderson, and Curtis Samuel should scare defenses away from stacking the box against the All-Pro running back. Play caller Joe Brady will surely have some deep passing plays up his sleeve to keep opposing units honest.

McCaffrey will again be the centerpiece of the offense just as he was last year. The difference is that he has a more consistent supporting cast around him. He is arguably the most valuable running back in the league and should continue to dominate the NFL for years to come.
