Which players would the Carolina Panthers steal from their NFC South rivals if given the opportunity?

What if the Carolina Panthers could take away one player from every NFC South rival in 2020? This is one of the strongest divisions in the NFL and is littered with game-changing individuals on both sides of the ball.

Hypothetically speaking, the Carolina Panthers would have an embarrassment of riches to choose from if presented with an opportunity. The division boasts two legitimate Super Bowl contenders in the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And it would be a huge surprise if both didn’t have a significant say in the destination of the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 2020.

Improvement is also expected from the Atlanta Falcons next time around. Although whether this will be enough to get them back to prominence remains to be seen. While they still boast a potent offense, there has been plenty of change on the defensive side of the ball. And how they come together will go a long way to determining their fortunes.

The Panthers’ chances of mounting some sort of title challenge during the first year of rebuild appear slim. Having so many young and relatively inexperienced starters on the roster will come with its own complications. But how the group responds to adversity and the challenges that lie ahead will ultimately determine just how long this expected period of transition is going to last.

If the Panthers had the chance to steal one player from each NFC South foe, which way would they possibly go?
