Which members of the Arizona Cardinals’ roster could be possible trade targets for the Carolina Panthers?

The Carolina Panthers made some significant changes to their roster in the hope of becoming a contender in the coming years. This has been welcome in terms of the organization’s long-term prospects. But some more moves could be made to speed up this process.

Whether this will come in free agency next spring or via trade is another matter entirely. The Carolina Panthers could end up with a top-tier draft pick once again in 2021. So they would have plenty to bargain with should they wish to acquire any players from teams across the league.

In the first of a special feature, we are taking a look at three trade targets for the Panthers from each NFL team leading up to training camp. The first instalment is the Arizona Cardinals, who look set for potential improvement in quarterback Kyler Murray’s second season under centre.

They boast a talented roster that looks to have the right blend of mix and experience going in. But the Cardinals find themselves in a tough division and this might hamper their aspirations of a playoff berth.

Arizona pulled off the biggest trade of the offseason when they somehow convinced the Houston Texans to trade wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for a bargain-basement price. This has the potential to be a real game-changer for them if it all clicks into place with what little time they have to spend together before the season opener.

Here are three players that the Panthers could call the Cardinals about and could improve their roster.
