Thomas Davis: Former Carolina Panthers LB

Thomas Davis is one of the best players and men that has ever stepped foot onto an NFL field. He made an enormous impression with the Carolina Panthers both in terms of production and his significant involvement within the community.

He was an amazing leader for the Panthers and spent 13 years with the team. He is their all-time solo tackles leader and is one of the most inspirational players to ever put on a uniform in Carolina.

Davis was part of some imposing defensive units during his time with the organization. And his ability to lead from the front and was one of his most accomplished traits.

The linebacker is one of the greatest athletes the state of Georgia has ever had. Davis was an exceptional high school athlete, where he played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. Not only was this outstanding participation, but he also dominated across the board.

Davis went on to play at the University of Georgia and continued his rise to stardom. He entered the draft in 2005 and the rest is history.

In recognition of his outstanding community efforts, Davis won the Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2014. Earning that accolade may be the single greatest distinction a player can receive.

Hopefully, when Davis’s career is all said and done, we will get his documentary. And there is little doubt it would be a must-see.
