Which members of the Carolina Panthers could be in contention to win individual awards in 2020?

It promises to be a season of immense intrigue for the Carolina Panthers. Their new-look roster will step onto the field in a competitive environment together for the first time. And how they fare will go a long way to determining the length of their expected rebuild.

This is going to be a transition not only for the players. But new head coach Matt Rhule is embarking on his first season with the Carolina Panthers and is going to get a crash course in what it is like in the NFL.

Expectations are low going into 2020, which is something that is to be expected. The Panthers find themselves in a tough division and any success they pick up along the way is going to be a bonus.

That being said, there is a chance that some members of the roster put themselves in contention for individual awards at the end of the season. The team does possess some real game-changing players. But whether they can all come together in a short space of time is another matter entirely.

The potential is definitely there. But having such a young group is bound to come with its fair share of inconsistencies. What is important is that the roster shows progression as the campaign wears on to give them the best possible chance of becoming an attractive proposition for 2021 free agents.

Here are four players that might be in the running for recognition following the season.
