Carolina Panthers: Ranking the top 5 players under 25
By Dean Jones
Who are the top five players under 25 that the Carolina Panthers have on their roster in 2020?
The Carolina Panthers go into the season with plenty of exciting young players on their roster. They removed a large majority of veterans from the team during the first year of head coach Matt Rhule’s rebuild. And although this was probably for the greater good. It does not make their task any easier in 2020.
However, if this young core can develop on the job in the coming years. Then there is nothing to suggest that they cannot become a contender in the not-too-distant future. Some will need to elevate their game with more responsibility on their shoulders. And others will be tasked with acclimatizing quickly in the harshest of environments.
There has been a complete shift in direction for the Panthers in a short space of time. A lack of time together in the current climate has further complicated this. So it is just going to be a case of learning on the job, developing with every passing game, and see just where it takes them.
If the Panthers can emerge from the challenges that lie ahead with some semblance of respectability, then it is going to do their long-term aspirations the world of good. The players on the roster under 25 are going to be crucial in any success that comes their way. And they will need to deliver on their enormous promise sooner rather than later.
Some, of course, have already proven their ability to produce consistently on the big stage. There was plenty of talent to choose from, but we ranked the top five players under 25-years-old currently on the Panthers’ roster.
