This is the Carolina Panthers dream coaching staff from those that have worked for the franchise since their inception.

The Carolina Panthers have had some outstanding coaches across the board throughout their 25-year history. But which ones would you pick if you had the pick of them all?

We had a little think ourselves and came up with a dream coaching staff from individuals that have worked with the Carolina Panthers in a professional environment. There was plenty to choose from. And there have been some that have thrived under the pressure more than others.

This does not detract from what an exciting series of appointments that the Panthers made to their staff this offseason. Head coach Matt Rhule has surrounded himself with the right blend of youth and experience in the hope of possibly becoming a contender in the future. And it would be a huge surprise if things didn’t start trending in the right direction.

Picking the coaching staff wasn’t easy. But here are the selections we have gone for.

Carolina Panthers dream coaching staff: Ron Rivera (Head Coach)

While his final two seasons were not much to shout about. There is little doubt that Ron Rivera is the best head coach that has ever been at the helm of the Carolina Panthers. An argument can be made for John Fox. But our choice came within a whisker of achieving a Super Bowl in 2015 and transformed the team into one of the most fashionable to following across the league at one stage.

He eventually finished his nine-year stay with the organization with 76-67-1 record before he was fired during the 2019 campaign. Although things went somewhat stagnant during the last 18 months of his reign. This should not detract from what an outstanding job he did overall.
