Things could go either way for the Carolina Panthers in 2020. They could either live up to their billing and struggle with a new-look roster. On the flip side, the group might come together quickly and surprise everyone.
It’s a fine line that has only been made worse by the lack of in-person OTAs or minicamps. The new coaching staff with the Carolina Panthers are going to be learning on the job themselves. So it might be a case of things getting worse before they get better.
Despite the loss of plenty of big-name veterans this offseason, there are still some high-profile individuals that will need to live up to their billing to give Carolina the best possible chance of succeeding. However, it might be those that are flying under the radar that could be more crucial to any achievements that come their way during the season.
The Panthers will know what they’re getting from the like of Christian McCaffrey, D.J. Moore, Tre Boston, and Shaq Thompson. These are all established players with proven production who even have the potential to get even better under the new regime.
Having complementary pieces is something every team requires to reach their respective goals. They are the glue that holds a roster together. And this is something that will be needed consistently during the season in Carolina.
