We ranked the top-ten NFL players on-screen and TV that could help the Carolina Panthers.

The Carolina Panthers now have a young and hungry roster after an offseason that was full of changes across the board. Owner David Tepper has bet big that head coach Matt Rhule can lead the team back to prominence. And both he and general manager Marty Hurney were given some significant leeway with some bold moves this offseason.

Much more will still need to be done in the coming years to make the Carolina Panthers a contender once again. This rebuilding process should speed up next year with more salary-cap space available. But it will be up to this current group to ensure they are an attractive destination for upcoming free agents.

There have been plenty of NFL characters in movies and TV shows over the years. For a little bit of fun, we took a look at some of these figures in relation to the Panthers and how they might be able to help the franchise.

After closer inspection, it’s a real shame that saw of these are merely figments of our on-screen imaginations.

Here are the top-ten choices we made from these “players” and how they could help the Panthers in 2020 and beyond.

Carolina Panthers Player No. 10: Julian Washington (RB) Any Given Sunday

Julian Washington was the burly running back played by LL Cool J in the smash-hit Any Given Sunday. He was a powerful runner with a nose for the end zone. And he has the potential to be the perfect foil for the Carolina Panthers’ All-Pro weapon Christian McCaffrey.

One problem that might arise where Washington is concerned is his off-field activities. He is a renowned party boy who likes spending money as much as making it. So it would represent a player that could be difficult to handle for the coaching staff.

His talent is not questioned. However, Washington’s lack of desire to put the team first might not sit well with limited carries behind McCaffrey.
