Which players from the Houston Texans could the Carolina Panthers possibly look to acquire in the trade market?

How much more the Carolina Panthers need to do in order to make themselves a contender once again will be determined throughout the upcoming season. The front office and head coach Matt Rhule have been immensely bold with their moves so far. But this is unlikely to come with immediate success.

The Carolina Panthers face a difficult schedule that is going to tell the coaching staff plenty about what sort of players are worth keeping around long-term. Plenty of individuals were brought in on one-year deals this offseason. So if they fail to live up to expectations. They can be moved on with no financial repercussions.

There is little doubt that more is going to be needed going forward. The Panthers do have more salary cap room to make moves next spring. And they can bolster their roster in free agency, via the 2021 NFL Draft, or through the trade market.

Continuing our looks at possible trade targets from every NFL team, we now turn our attention to the Houston Texans. It has been another head-scratching offseason for the franchise. And this is down in no small part to their decision to trade away perennial Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for David Johnson and a second-round pick.

This has left the team’s fanbase questioning the overall authority of Bill O’Brien, who faces a crucial campaign that will determine whether his stay in Houston will last past this year.

Here are three players that the Panthers could possibly look at in a trade with the Texans. And judging by recent moves, no individual is off-limits.
