Carolina Panthers Reason No. 1: Offensive weapons

One of the primary reasons why Teddy Bridgewater has the potential to thrive with the Carolina Panthers is the offensive weapons at his disposal. The organization is loaded with players who can make things happen at the drop of a hat. And this is going to stand their new quarterback in extremely good stead as he looks to make a good first impression.

It’s hard not to like the way Carolina is set up offensively in 2020. Their protection will need to step up considerably. But it would be a shock if they were not able to put significant points on the board against even the best defenses on the schedule.

Running back Christian McCaffrey is coming off a season where he became the third player in NFL history to record 1,000-yards rushing and receiving. The All-Pro will be a tremendous security blanket for Bridgewater to utilize both in the running game and on short to intermediate routes.

The signal-caller also has a wide receiver with substantial potential in D.J. Moore, who is coming off his first 1,000-yard season despite some inconsistent play under center in Carolina last time out. He could be set for superstardom with Bridgewater distributing the ball. And this could become a prolific tandem if everything clicks right away.

Free-agent signing Robby Anderson and No. 3 wideout option Curtis Samuel also come into 2020 with high expectations. And the Panthers have placed a tremendous amount of confidence in their tight end Ian Thomas to come up with the same sort of production as Greg Olsen.

With Pharoh Cooper, Seth Roberts, and Keith Kirwood also looking for targets. It is an embarrassment of riches for Bridgewater and something that could result in some lofty fantasy football numbers.
