Which members of the Carolina Panthers are facing make-or-break seasons in 2020?

This season is vastly important for the Carolina  Panthers. On the tail of a changing of the guard, the organization will look not only to find their way back to the win column but rebuild an identity.

Legendary figures such as Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, and Greg Olsen all left in one form or another after the 2019 campaign. The loss of a handful of free agents like cornerback James Bradberry also left plenty of holes to fill for the Carolina Panthers.

With an entirely new coaching staff who seems geared towards a retooling, not tanking. There’s room for a handful of players to take a major step forward. While the team is not staring down a shrinking Super Bowl window, the performance of several key individuals could help begin an exciting new era for the Panthers at the beginning of the decade.

Add in the uncertainty facing all major sports leagues due to the current climate for this season and the next. And sprinkle in a dash of expected more resources to work with financially in 2021 and you have the recipe for a make-or-break season for four specific Panthers next time around.

While none of these players are facing a certain departure from Carolina. The 2020 campaign will be vitally important to their futures with the team. Poor performance could spell a drastic change in their role. While a solid effort could ultimately change the makeup of the entire team.
