Carolina Panthers Player No. 2: D.J. Moore (WR)

Wide receiver D.J. Moore is on the cusp of superstardom after emerging as a true No. 1 option for the Carolina Panthers. He goes into 2020 with WR1 potential in fantasy football. And there is a real chance the player can make further strides next time around.

Moore has everything you are looking for in a productive fantasy option. He did only score four touchdowns last season. But there is nothing to suggest this statistic is not going to improve dramatically during a critical third year for the wideout.

If the former Maryland standout reaches his enormously high ceiling in Joe Brady’s offense, then he will enter the elite discussion when it comes to NFL receivers across the league. Moore can do it all and needs to be looked at as a significant player of interest when you are drafting your team.

Carolina Panthers Player No. 1: Christian McCaffrey (RB)

The chances are that if you don’t have the No. 1 overall pick in your league, then Christian McCaffrey will not be within reach. The running back carried the Panthers last season to become arguably the best option in all of fantasy football.

McCaffrey matches high volume with exceptional production, which is the hallmark of any great fantasy player. He is the best dual-threat running back in the NFL. And given the fact he is entering his fourth year, there is a chance the player can get even better going forward.

Defenses will focus primarily on stopping McCaffrey in 2020. One suspects they will much rather take their chances on Teddy Bridgewater beating them. But that should not impact his numbers a great deal.

McCaffrey has already proven more than capable of coming up with elite production no matter what defensive scheme is put in front of him. While it might be asking too much of the player to break 1,000-yards rushing and receiving once again. He is a must-have across all formats if you are fortunate enough to be in a position to get him.
