Which members of the Carolina Panthers could outplay their current deals in 2020?

The Carolina Panthers have plenty of unproven players set to occupy starting roles in 2020. This only adds to the excitement and uncertainty of just how this roster is going to get on in the face of such stern opposition. And new head coach Matt Rhule has his work cut out getting them on the same page in a limited time before their week one opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.

There is plenty of reasons to be encouraged from the Panthers’ perspective. They boast plenty of game-changing players on both sides of the ball. And this is coupled with energy and athleticism that hasn’t been seen in the organization for some time.

Carolina will be counting on its prominent playmakers to produce the good when it matters most next time around. They tailed off dramatically after showing promise in 2019. And this was the catalyst behind substantial changes across the board during an extremely busy offseason.

If the Panthers can stand up to the challenges that await them, then it is going to their chances of a fast rebuild the world of good. It is also set to see some individuals on the roster outplay their current deals.

This is something that is commonplace across the NFL. Teams find bargain free agents who end up giving more than the financial outlay. And the rookie salary scale throws up some that deserve a renewed deal before time.

Here are four players that could fall into this category if they shine for the Panthers in 2020.
