Which players from the Las Vegas Raiders might the Carolina Panthers look to acquire via the trade market to boost their rebuild?

It looks to have been a positive start from the Carolina Panthers in their pursuit of being among the postseason contenders in the not-too-distant future. The changes have been drastic and substantial during an unprecedented offseason. But more is going to be needed during the season and another critical spring next year.

New Panthers’ head coach Matt Rhule might have an exceptional record of turning around struggling college programs. However, history dictates that this doesn’t happen in his first season at the helm. The former Baylor man is going to find out quickly just what a significant difference it can be coaching at the next level. And this is something that those who made the transition before him failed to fully adapt to.

Rhule will be hoping he can buck this trend. And Carolina has bet big that he is the man to lead them back to prominence. A good start in difficult circumstances is all it is at the present time. And it promises to be a campaign full of twists and turns for the organization.

The team will have much more financial resources at their disposal in 2021. But they could also go down the trade route if a particular player becomes of interest.

Continuing our look at possible Panthers’ trade targets from every NFL team, we now turn our attention to the Las Vegas Raiders. This is a young roster that is taking a leap into the unknown ahead of their first season in the desert. And whether their primary players can take the necessary steps forward to get them over the hump remains to be seen.

General manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden are the two key decision-makers within the organization. And their strong knowledge of incoming college recruits has enabled them to put together an exciting unit capable of great things.

Much will depend on how quarterback Derek Carr performs in what appears to be his final chance to prove his worth. And if he struggles early on, it might lead the Raiders to replace him with intriguing free-agent pickup Marcus Mariota sooner rather than later.

Here are three potential trade targets that the Panthers might consider from the Raiders should such an opportunity arise.
