It is going to be an important few weeks for the Carolina Panthers as on-field preparations for the new season finally get underway. The organization has been restricted in the lead-up to training camp. But all necessary parties have come to an agreement to start proceedings despite ongoing concerns with the current climate.
The Carolina Panthers have their work cut out making any sort of impression in 2020. They have a new coaching staff, a revamped roster, and a league-low 46.1 percent of players returning from the previous campaign.
This has the potential to do more harm than good. But having little expectations on their shoulders should take off some of the pressure in the face of such stern competition.
What transpires during camp is going to go a long way to determining just how well Carolina can start the season. They have some winnable games on the schedule early on. And they will need to build some momentum for the tougher challenges that lie ahead.
New head coach Matt Rhule is going to find out quickly what a brutal environment the NFL is. He hasn’t yet had the chance to get his team together. And the former Baylor man will have minimal time to get his message across.
