Carolina Panthers: 3 potential landing spots for K Graham Gano

It is clear for all to see that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are all-in on winning a Super Bowl in 2020. They have made some eye-catching additions to their roster during a sensational offseason for the organization. And expectations have never been higher as a result.
One area that could possibly pose a concern is at kicker. Matt Gay was adequate in the role last season. But adding someone like Graham Gano would be a significant upgrade.
Should Gano end up in Tampa Bay, then he would get his chance to show the Carolina Panthers that they were wrong not to give him another chance to fight for the No. 1 position. It might also be the difference in critical situations for the Buccaneers as they look to build on the momentum generated from the acquisition of Tom Brady and others in recent months.
Much will depend on Gano’s health. But he passed his physical upon returning to Carolina’s facility for the start of camp. And he might even be willing to take the veterans’ minimum to land on a legitimate contender.
Tampa has become an attractive destination for free agents since the arrival of Brady and Rob Gronkowski. And this opportunity would be a hard one to turn down from Gano’s perspective.
