Carolina Panthers Player No. 4: Pharoh Cooper (WR)
There promises to be plenty of competition for places at wide receiver during training camp. The Carolina Panthers have their top-three options locked up. But there are a number of other individuals who will be looking to shine in pursuit of their fair share of targets in 2020.
One of the more intriguing options available is Pharoh Cooper. The multi-dimensional player is coming off a promising campaign with the Arizona Cardinals. And he is another that can be utilized in a number of different ways by offensive coordinator Joe Brady.
Cooper can line up on the outside, in the slot, or even as a running back if the opportunity allows. This versatility has the potential to make a real difference and further add to a potentially dynamic offense quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has at his disposal in Carolina.
The wideout has a superb ability to make people miss. And this is going to come in handy in his expected role returning kicks. Cooper had an impressive catch success rate of 75.8 percent during his time with the Cardinals, which is a strong indication of his reliability.
Although the likes of Seth Roberts, Brandon Zylstra, and Keith Kirkwood also harbor strong ambitions of winning the No. 4 wide receiver position. Cooper is sure to catch the eye with his playmaking ability during team drills, which might give him the edge overall.
