Pick Analysis. CAROLINA PANTHERS. 11. player. 87. Scouting Report. RB. JORDANSCARLETT

Carolina Panthers Player No. 11: Jordan Scarlett (RB) – 4.47 seconds

The Carolina Panthers have plenty of competition for place surrounding their running back room behind Christian McCaffrey. And Jordan Scarlett will be looking for more of an opportunity in his sophomore campaign.

He does have some upside after a standout college career. But he will need more than just his 4.47-second speed to get him an increase in touches next time around.

WR. KEITHKIRKWOOD. 87. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CAROLINA PANTHERS. 10. player

Carolina Panthers No. 10: Keith Kirkwood (WR) – 4.46 seconds

Keith Kirkwood is hoping that familiarity will be crucial in his bid to earn significant minutes on the Carolina Panthers in 2020. He has worked with Joe Brady and Teddy Bridgewater during their time together with the New Orleans Saints. And this should stand him in good stead with no preseason games to call upon.

Kirkwood is also a burner with a 4.46 speed. This is something else the wideout has in his favor. So it would be a huge surprise if he wasn’t given the opportunity to get some targets as the season goes on.

Whether he can force his way up a stacked depth chart at wide receiver is up for debate. But Kirkwood has a better chance than most.

S. CAROLINA PANTHERS. JEREMYCHINN. player. Scouting Report. 87. Pick Analysis. 9

Carolina Panthers Player No. 9: Jeremy Chinn (S) – 4.45 seconds

The Carolina Panthers invested a lot in getting Jeremy Chinn to the organization during the NFL Draft. They moved back into the second round to acquire the former Southern Illinois standout. And he is a player with a substantial upside.

Chinn has the ability to make a real difference almost anywhere on defense. And his 4.45-second speed is going to ensure he is around the ball consistently at the next level.

How the Panthers use Chinn’s supreme athletic traits during his rookie campaign is going to be one of the more interesting things to keep an eye on. But it is hard not to like his potential to make a smooth transition to the pros.

SETHROBERTS. Pick Analysis. WR. CAROLINA PANTHERS. 8. player. 87. Scouting Report

Carolina Panthers Player No. 8: Seth Roberts (WR) – 4.44 seconds

Seth Roberts arrives with the Carolina Panthers following a complementary role as part of the Baltimore Ravens last season. He will be hoping for more of a shot in a different environment. But with the top-three places already sealed remains to be seen.

Roberts is a big body who can make a difference in the red zone. And the wideout also comes with 4.44-second speed to further assist him with producing the goods on the field.

What comes over the next few weeks will be pivotal for Roberts and others during training camp. But he is one that could make his presence felt.
