Top 5 Carolina Panthers that nobody talks about

Carolina Panthers Player No. 3: Marquis Haynes – EDGE
There seems to be a real window of opportunity for Marquis Haynes in 2020. The outside linebacker is competing with Jermaine Carter for the starting role opposite Shaq Thompson. And judging by the photos from training camp, the former Mississippi edge rusher has been working on his body a considerable amount during the offseason.
Haynes showed glimpses of promise during limited snaps last season. Much more will be needed next time around with the expected rise in responsibility. But there is plenty to like about the player’s ability to make a contribution going forward.

His versatility will go down well with the Carolina Panthers. This is something the decision-makers sought prominently during free agency and the NFL Draft. So it is yet another element that could see Haynes take a giant leap forward in 2020.
Winning the job in training camp will be the easy part. Haynes needs to ensure that he is fully ready for this challenge if it comes his way.
He has all the tools needed to make an impact. And his two sacks from just 19 percent of Carolina’s defensive snaps last season is something else that is set to stand the player in good stead.
Haynes has been relatively overlooked this offseason by the wider media. And this is set to give him plenty of motivation heading into the penultimate year of his rookie deal.
