Carolina Panthers Battle No.1: WR 4, 5, and 6
There is plenty of talented individuals fighting for targets behind star wide receiver trio D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, and Curtis Samuel. This looks to be an area of real strength for the Carolina Panthers. And it is something that should ensure they put some significant points on the board in Joe Brady’s dynamic scheme.
The No. 4 and No. 5 wideout spots on the depth chart might see plenty of the field. So what comes next in the coming weeks is going to be crucial for those looking for minutes.

Seth Roberts was brought in during free agency from the Baltimore Ravens. And he is a big body who can get down the field.
This is something that could be a real asset, especially in the red zone. And it appears that Roberts is arguably the favorite for the WR 4 position if he performs as he is capable of during training camp.
Another notable arrival this offseason was the dynamic Pharoh Cooper. His versatility and ability to make things happen with the ball in his hands is something that the Panthers’ coaching staff is going to love. And he is also going to offer plenty in the return game.
Keith Kirkwood’s familiarity with Brady and Teddy Bridgewater is something that could see him make the roster. The duo of Brandon Zylstra and DeAndrew White would be more surprising adds. But there is nothing to suggest they cannot do damage if they impress at camp.
One wildcard who has caught the eye during the initial stages of camp is undrafted free-agent Omar Bayless. He has been hugely impressive during team drills so far. And the Panthers might want to keep him around a little longer to see what he can do in a competitive setting.
