Passing accuracy

Considering that Justin Fields only has one full year of starting college experience, his composure under center is highly impressive. He is able to go through his reads quickly. And the player is also an accurate passer with time or under pressure.

Fields completed 67.2 percent of his passes in 2019 on his way to 3,273 yards, 41 touchdowns, and only three interceptions. His ability to come up big in the clutch was another standout feature from a phenomenal campaign. And there is nothing to suggest he cannot develop his outstanding skills even further with more experience.

Although he failed to leap Jake Fromm on the depth chart at Georgia in 2018. Fields’ pass completion percentage stood at 69.2 percent.

Things will be more difficult in the NFL. But if the player can showcase his effortless throwing motion to good effect, then he has the potential to transform the fortunes of a struggling franchise in no time at all.

Fields distributes the ball with tremendous velocity. This enables him to fire it into tight coverage with ease. And his throwing style should be a good fit in Joe Brady’s scheme if he eventually ends up on the Carolina Panthers.

His tendency to give up on a play too quickly is something that will need to be addressed. But this probably all comes down to experience and one is just splitting hairs trying to find holes in Fields’ game.
