4 Carolina Panthers who have exceeded expectations at camp

Pharoh Cooper – WR/KR
The Carolina Panthers have plenty of exciting options at the wide receiver spot. And who makes the biggest impression during training camp will be the one who earns targets behind star trio D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, and Curtis Samuel.
One player who has made a lasting impact during team drills so far is Pharoh Cooper. The wideout has been at his electrifying best so far. And this was highlighted by the play of the day when he connected with Will Grier on a deep route in front of the media for the first time.
Cooper seems to have fitted into his new surrounding seamlessly. And there is an incredible amount of potential where the player is concerned.
He is a real threat with the ball in his hands. Cooper is also able to line up anywhere across the line and even as a running back should the opportunity arise. And this sort of versatility is something that the Panthers’ coaching staff clearly loves in a player.
There is also the possibility of Cooper making his presence felt in the return game. This cannot be overlooked in the grand scheme of things. But the multi-purpose weapon will need to keep up this high standard of performance for the entirety of camp to ensure he earns a prominent role on a stacked offense in Carolina.
