What bombshell trades could the Carolina Panthers make before they take the field for their Week 1 encounter against the Las Vegas Raiders?

Things look completely different from the Carolina Panthers’ perspective heading into the new season. Significant changes were made across the board during an offseason of unprecedented activity. But only time will tell as to whether or not this new-look group can come together in such a short space of time after so much disruption to their preparations.

This is normally the time of year where we see plenty of trades across the NFL. Teams are looking for additional reinforcements to boost their chances of attaining success in 2020. And this might be an avenue that the Carolina Panthers explore themselves.

New head coach Matt Rhule has had three weeks to form his opinions regarding just what sort of individuals he will be working with during the upcoming campaign. The roster is littered with playmakers on both sides of the ball. But their lack of experience, especially on defense, is something that could become a problem during their initial period of transition.

The Panthers have been bold in their decision-making in recent months. This is something that was obviously difficult, but they deserve a tremendous amount of credit for having the courage of their convictions to try and get the franchise back among the leading Super Bowl contenders.

Much more will be needed going forward to achieve their eventual goals. And here are four bombshell trades that the Panthers might consider making before they take the field Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
