Haason Reddick (OLB) – Arizona Cardinals

Haason Reddick is no stranger to Carolina Panthers’ head coach Matt Rhule from their time together at Temple. This makes him a realistic option to end up with the organization in the future.

Rhule has surrounded himself with familiar faces as he looks to ease his transition to the next level. Adding Reddick to their defensive options at the second level would not be the worst idea in the world and it is unlikely to cost the earth with the outside linebacker heading into the final year of his rookie deal.

Reddick was immensely productive under Rhule. This saw the player taken No. 13 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. But he did not have his fifth-year option picked up by the Arizona Cardinals.

This means he will become a free agent next spring. If the Cardinals want to get some draft capital back from their initial investment, then they will undoubtedly consider an offer for Reddick before the season.

The Panthers have a spot open opposite Shaq Thompson at outside linebacker. A number of candidates are vying to start during training camp. But adding Reddick would give Carolina’s head coach a trusted figure that knows the system enough to slot in from day one.

It is a possible trade option that should not be overlooked. Reddick is just entering his prime and is also blessed with more experience than most on the Panthers’ defense currently.
