Big things are expected of the Carolina Panthers’ wide receivers in 2020, but what sort of numbers can they put up next season?

There might be more than a few questions to answer for the Carolina Panthers from a defensive perspective in 2020. But their offense has the potential to be an area of genuine quality.

Much will depend on how their new-look offensive line holds up against some high-class opposition. But if they can provide Teddy Bridgewater with enough time in the pocket and give Christian McCaffrey the right sort of running lanes, then the sky is the limit for this current group with the Carolina Panthers.

This is down in no small part to the exceptional weapons on offer at the wide receiver position. Carolina has nothing short of an embarrassment of riches throughout the depth chart. And this is something that new offensive coordinator Joe Brady will undoubtedly utilize early and often during games.

They have a formidable-looking starting trio that could be among the NFL’s best if targets are met. Plenty of others will be looking for opportunities next season who also come with substantial upside.

These components should ensure that the Panthers will put big points on the board against even the toughest defenses. Whether this is enough to keep them competitive in 2020 remains to be seen. But it cannot do them any harm looking at the bigger picture as the organization starts on the load road to becoming a contender again in the future.
