Big things are expected of D.J. Moore in his third season with the Carolina Panthers, but what are some ambitious targets for the wide receiver in 2020?
There are plenty of expectations on the shoulders of D.J. Moore heading into 2020. The wide receiver enjoyed a breakout year with the Carolina Panthers last time out and more is expected next season with the improvements made to the offense in recent months.
Moore is another high-end NFL Draft pick that the Carolina Panthers appears to have struck gold with. He is already an accomplished route runner that can impact the game almost anywhere on the field. And the former Maryland standout is sure to be a focal point in the passing game that could see him become one of the prime beneficiaries of new offensive coordinator Joe Brady’s scheme.
If the Panthers want to be competitive during the upcoming campaign, then their offense will need to put up some significant points. There are plenty of questions to answer regarding their defense against some elite opposition in 2020. And how they cope in the face of this pressure could be the difference between success and failure.
The No. 24 overall pick in 2018 is set to enter the elite discussion if he makes further strides next season. Moore has everything one looks for in a prolific wideout and the Panthers can count themselves extremely fortunate to have a player of this caliber.
