Combined touchdowns

One area where Curtis Samuel made great strides with the Carolina Panthers over the last two seasons is getting in the end zone. This is going to be a significant boost for the offense if he can continue this trend going forward. And the sky is the limit if he finds more ways to be effective at the business end of the field.

Samuel has seven combined touchdowns in each of the last two seasons. There is nothing to suggest he is not more than capable of topping this number in the coming months. And the player might still go under the radar somewhat thanks to the presence of Christian McCaffrey, D.J. Moore, and Robby Anderson.

This is something that Samuel can use to his advantage. Teams will be wary of the threat he possesses, without question. But with other talented players commanding more attention, it would be a huge surprise if the wideout did not get considerable space in which to work.

The early signs regarding Samuel in Joe Brady’s new offense are incredibly promising. He has been lighting up training camp with some dazzling plays on a consistent basis. This bodes extremely well for his chances of a possible breakout season in 2020.
