Offensive Player of Camp: Christian McCaffrey – RB

Christian McCaffrey has been at his brilliant best throughout training camp. The new face of the Carolina Panthers looks fit and raring to go ahead of the upcoming campaign as he looks to build on a 2019 season that put him in the record books.

McCaffrey became only the third running back in NFL history to go over 1,000-yards rushing and receiving in the same season. Whether the All-Pro can secure this feat against in 2020 is up for debate. But there is little disputing just how indispensable he is to the organization going forward.

The Panthers will be relying on McCaffrey heavily despite their eye-catching weapons on offense. Joe Brady will look to make things easier for the former first-round pick next time around. But everything good will continue to go through the best dual-threat back in the league.

His performances have drawn glowing praise from teammates. Those who haven’t seen McCaffrey in the flesh before were left in awe at his power, athleticism, and elusiveness. This tells you everything about the esteem to which he is held in Carolina.

Keeping their new $64 million man fresh is going to be key throughout this current rebuild. McCaffrey is the best in the business at what he does and is a lock for the Pro Football Hall of Fame if he carries on this extraordinary production throughout his career.
