There is plenty of talent on the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020, but which players will the Carolina Panthers need to keep quiet in their Week 1 matchup?

We are now just a matter of days before the Carolina Panthers return to the field for their Week 1 opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.

This has been a long time coming after an unprecedented offseason period that left many questioning whether there would be any football at all in 2020. The Carolina Panthers and other teams across the league deserve an enormous amount of credit for taking every precaution to ensure things are COVID-19 safe at their respective facilities. But it remains to be seen whether there will be any complications once opposing rosters from different parts of the country come together for the first time.

The Panthers are stepping into the unknown with a brand-new coaching staff and a team that looks virtually unrecognizable from that which finished the 2019 campaign. Few would argue that starting over was much needed following a prolonged period of stagnation under the previous regime. But it is hard not to look at next season with some sort of trepidation.

Things look far more promising for the Raiders, who formally move to their new luxurious home in Las Vegas. There might not be any fans in the desert early on thanks to the current concerns surrounding COVID-19. But this is an exciting time for the organization and one that might lead to a surprising playoff push in 2020.

Carolina’s relatively inexperienced roster might have their work cut out trying to stop a talented Raiders squad. Let’s take a look at four players they need to keep quiet to stand any chance of success.
