4 big Carolina Panthers storylines to watch against the Raiders

Distribution on offense
There has been a lot of talk regarding just how offensive coordinator Joe Brady is going to utilize the outstanding weapons at his disposal with the Carolina Panthers. The coach comes into the NFL riding on the crest of a wave and there is nothing to suggest he cannot bring his incredible success at LSU to the next level.
The Panthers will need to put some significant points on the board throughout the season due to their defense, which comes with plenty of questions that need to be answered. How Brady distributes carries and targets is a storyline worth watching and could be the difference between success and failure.
All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey will continue to be the focal point. Everything good will come from the new face of the franchise and if Brady puts his star player in a position to make a valuable contribution it is going to free up plenty of space elsewhere.
The wide receiver trio of D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, and Curtis Samuel all come with game-changing ability. And there are plenty of expectations on the shoulders of tight end Ian Thomas making a huge leap forward providing he is ready to go following a toe injury that forced him to miss some time this week at practice.
Other rotational pieces may also play a part when the opportunity arises. Brady has an embarrassment of riches to call upon and it will be down to the progressive young mind to get the balance right.
