The Carolina Panthers are looking for a redemption seeking victory in Week 2 against their NFC South rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Carolina Panthers will travel to Raymond James Stadium on Sunday to face a Buccaneers team that will be looking to redeem themselves after being bludgeoned by the New Orleans Saints in Week 1.

Several NFL pundits have spent the week debating the impact of blunt comments made to the press by Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians following the defeat.

"He looked like Tom Brady in practice all the time, so it’s kind of unusual to see that in the ballgame because they didn’t do the things that we didn’t get ready for. Everything (the Saints) did, we thought we were ready for."

Brady responded mildly to Arians’ comments on Thursday telling reporters, “he’s a coach and I’m a player – just trying to win a game.”

The Panthers will undoubtedly be just as motivated to bounce back after losing a very winnable game against the Las Vegas Raiders on kickoff weekend. Left tackle Russell Okung called out the offensive line for their performance in Week 1, particularly on the failed fourth-and-one attempt effectively sealed the Panthers’ loss.

"Honestly, the game comes down to fourth-and-one. We did not do enough to win the game, especially when it was on our backs."

The Panthers are 24-15 all-time against Tampa Bay. But with Brady and a wealth of talent on both sides of the ball, it’s safe to say this won’t be a walk in the park.

Several NFL experts favor the Bucs by a large margin, but here are three bold predictions for the Panthers in this matchup.
