The Carolina Panthers defense will record 2 sacks and 2 INTs.

This young bunch showed a lot of promise against the Raiders last week. Brian Burns, Derrick Brown, and Yetur Gross-Matos all gave Carolina Panthers’ fans a glimpse of how good this defense could be in the future.

Gross-Matos and Kawann Short have been ruled out for Sunday’s game. Still, his group of young, athletic pass rushers should be able to pressure and sack 43-year-old Tom Brady. The six-time Super Bowl champion has never been mobile and the Saints managed to record three sacks during a convincing win.

The Panthers secondary is banged up with starter Donte Jackson dealing with an ankle injury. But look for Brady to throw two more interceptions this week.

The top two Bucs’ wide receivers are nursing injuries and although Mike Evans may still suit up on Sunday, Chris Godwin is doubtful to play after being placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol this week.

Building chemistry is a very important part of running a smooth offense and the lack thereof due to injury may lead Brady to make mistakes as he tries to navigate this new system.

While it’s hard to believe Brady will have a multi-interception performance for the second week in a row. History shows quarterbacks under Bruce Arians’ tutelage are much more prone to throwing interceptions.
