The Carolina Panthers are looking to pull off a major upset at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, but can they defy the odds?

It is going to take a monumental effort for the Carolina Panthers to achieve victory in their Week 2 encounter at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Nobody is giving the Carolina Panthers much of a chance to defy the odds and secure a notable triumph at Raymond James Stadium. The Bucs will be smarting from their Week 1 loss at the New Orleans Saints and will not want quarterback Tom Brady‘s home debut to go in the same direction.

Having little expectations on their shoulders might actually work in the Panthers’ favor. They can go out there with an added sense of freedom knowing the pressure is all on the home team and this might see their level of performance increase considerably against a roster that has high hopes of a deep postseason run in 2020.

There is no denying the fact that significant adjustments need to be made by Carolina’s coaching staff if they want to stay competitive in this one. This bears more significance on defense and not having Kawann Short or Yetur Gross-Matos on the defensive front is another obstacle they need to overcome.

It would be a massive statement from the Panthers if they could somehow come away from their Week 2 matchup with a win. And there is just no telling what a result such as this would do for their confidence going forward.

Let’s take a look at what to expect, the best bets for the game, and our final prediction for the clash.
