4 biggest challenges facing the Panthers at the Chargers in Week 3

Stopping the Chargers’ pass-rush
Perhaps the biggest challenge for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday will be trying to contain the formidable pass-rush of the Los Angeles Chargers. They caused quarterback Patrick Mahomes some real problems against the Chiefs last weekend and another bold showing this time out would represent a significant problem for the visitors.
Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram are arguably the NFL’s best edge-rushing duo. They compliment each other extremely well and have the potential to wreak havoc on any given down.
Fortunately for the Panthers, they have two high-performing players at the tackle positions. Taylor Moton and Russell Okung‘s production has been nothing short of outstanding so far this season. So there is every chance the duo can more than hold their own against the stiffest of propositions.
Okung has given up one sack from 140 snaps in the face of some outstanding opposition on his way to an eye-catching 76.5 grade from Pro Football Focus over two games. Moton has been exceptional on the other side to further highlight his standing as one of the NFL’s brightest young protectors in a contract year.
This is going to be the acid test for both Okung and Moton. But they go into it in fine form.
