Which members of the Carolina Panthers need to step up their level of performance at the Los Angeles Chargers in a crucial Week 3 contest?
Things haven’t gone according to plan for the Carolina Panthers so far and things will not be any easier at the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.
There were obviously going to be some growing pains with a new-look roster that had little time to familiarise themselves with each other during the preparation period. This has played a leading role in the Carolina Panthers starting the 2020 campaign at 0-2 and not having star running back Christian McCaffrey to lean on is only going to hamper their chances of turning things around at the earliest possible opportunity.
The Chargers come into the game with plenty of confidence despite losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2. Taking the Super Bowl champions to overtime before eventually falling short is a superb platform from which to build ahead of an exciting new era with their first-round pick Justin Herbert under center.
Carolina has its work cut out trying to stop some prolific weapons on both sides of the ball in Los Angeles. New head coach Matt Rhule will need some individuals to raise their game in no uncertain terms to give the Panthers any sort of chance of pulling off an upset.
