Which members of the Carolina Panthers turned in quality performances in their impressive Week 3 win at the Los Angeles Chargers?
When the Carolina Panthers needed a big performance, they certainly got one.
To say their victory at the Los Angeles Chargers was out of the blue would be an understatement. They came into the game on a ten-game losing run dating back to November last year and the Carolina Panthers were coming up against a team that had taken the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs to overtime the previous weekend.
This might not have been a do-or-die situation for the Panthers given their relative lack of expectations in 2020. But had they lost again it would have given those sections of the fanbase that are far from pleased with the organization’s current direction even more ammunition to voice their displeasure.
Players might state they pay no attention to what is being said on social media, but we all know that isn’t the case.
It would have been easy for Carolina’s young roster to roll over in the absence of their star running back Christian McCaffrey. Instead, they displayed the sort of improvement and resolve that might stand them in good stead if this group can build on a potentially momentum-changing success.
Let’s take a look at four Panthers players who showed out during their first win of the season at SoFi Stadium.
