The Carolina Panthers go into Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals with plenty of confidence having secured their first win of the season. It was probably harder than it ought to have been at the Chargers, especially late on. But the important thing was they held on for a victory that is bound to give this young roster a significant confidence boost.

New head coach Matt Rhule will now that the NFL is a fast-changing league that can alter with every passing week.
