Chandler Jones – EDGE

When looking at the Arizona Cardinals’ defense, it is not hard to see where the main threat is going to come from. Chandler Jones is one of the best in the business when it comes to getting after the quarterback and if the Carolina Panthers aren’t ready, he is going to punish them severely.

Their protection on the edge has been `of high quality so far this season. Taylor Moton is developing into an elite tackle and the arrival of veteran Pro Bowler Russell Okung has been another huge asset to call upon.

Okung’s status for Sunday’s game is unclear after he missed out at the Chargers through injury. Greg Little and Trent Scott didn’t exactly shine in his absence and this might be something that Jones looks to take advantage of at every opportunity.

This is a plan that Joey Bosa adopted in Week 3. He normally operates from the left defensive end spot but he spent plenty of time on the inexperienced duo and had a significant amount of joy.

Jones has the ability to completely turnaround the direction of any game when he is in the mood. The edge rusher possesses physicality, athleticism, and power that can terrorize an offensive line if they fail to meet their end of the bargain.

The Super Bowl winner has recorded double-digit sacks in six of his nine NFL seasons, has two All-Pro selections, and was named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 2010s. Jones led the league in sacks last season with 19 and has one to his name during the current campaign to date.
