Carolina Panthers vs. Cardinals: What to expect

It would not be a surprise to see this game evolve into a potential shootout. Both sides have some electrifying playmakers on offense and this should result in some substantial points being put up.

The Carolina Panthers need to find an answer for Kyler Murray, who is one of the NFL’s most exciting players. He already looks good value for the No. 1 overall pick in 2019 and he is the main reason why expectations are relatively high regarding a possible postseason berth for Arizona at the end of the regular season.

Much will depend on whether DeAndre Hopkins is ready to go. The stud wide receiver has missed some time at practice this week and if he is unable to take his place in the lineup, it might just tip the scales in favor of the home team.

Teddy Bridgewater needs to be more clinical in the red zone, but there is a lot to like about the way he has moved the chains through the first three weeks. Carolina’s offense looked okay at the Chargers without Christian McCaffrey, but they will need more from their star wide receiver trio against a higher standard of opposition in Week 4.

Whoever starts the quicker will be crucial to the overall outcome. Expect the Panthers to run the ball heavily with Mike Davis early to try and open up space in the running game. If they can do this successfully, it will also keep Arizona’s prominent pass-rushers honest that might just give them a fighting chance.
