The Carolina Panthers will show off a spectacular touchdown celebration.

While only about 5,000 fans will be in attendance at Bank of America stadium, I expect the Carolina Panthers will play with tons of energy and edge with this added motivation for the first time this season.

Panthers owner David Tepper told local reporters in September the goal of opening the stadium to limited fans isn’t about making a profit, but about connecting fans with the players and coaches. This is more important than ever thanks to the large changes across the organization that has left some supporters more than a little concerned about what sort of direction they are going in.

Many players through the years have spoken about how much fans make an impact on the energy on the field and on the sidelines. While this Panthers team isn’t particularly flashy, their young and inexperienced roster should be motivated to put on a good showing for the home crowd.

Throughout the league, we’ve already seen some creative touchdown celebrations. However, the Panthers have been generally modest after scoring touchdowns up to this point.

There is no way to predict exactly what celebrations the team has planned, but it would be unfortunate if the players didn’t reward Panthers fans with some memorable touchdown moves during what might end up being a high-scoring game if both teams reach their ceilings on offense.
